STAGINGStaging: separate database, no real money, nothing here reaches a customer.

$0 a month.
No cut of your sales.

You get the whole product and pay us nothing. Not this month, not any month. A small service fee is added to the customer's order instead, and they see it before they pay. Nothing is held back for a higher tier, because there is no higher tier.

What you never pay

No subscription. No cut of your sales.

Most ways of selling online cost you a monthly fee, a cut of every sale, or both. Zero Monthly costs you neither. The whole platform is funded by a small fee on the customer's order instead.

No hardware needed

Bookings arrive by email on the phone or laptop you already own, which is the finished product and costs nothing. If you want a screen at the front desk, use a spare tablet or buy the pair we recommend from Amazon for about $75 - we do not resell them and make nothing on them.

No monthly subscription

You are not renting software. There is no recurring bill to us, this month or any month.

No cut of your takings

We take no percentage of your takings. A $500 day and a $50 day cost you the same: nothing.

No setup fee and no contract

Build your service list, paste your link, start taking appointments. Nothing to pay to get going, and nothing to cancel: export your client list and walk away whenever you want.

Card fees are yours, the same as they are today. No contracts and no setup fee.

Side by side

The same order, three ways to sell it.

A delivery app takes a cut and keeps your customer. A subscription platform bills you every month. Many charge both a monthly fee and a cut of every order. Zero Monthly does none of it.

Marketplace cuts and platform pricing vary by agreement. Figures are typical ranges, shown to make the trade clear rather than to quote any one competitor.

Included everywhere

No feature gates.

Paying nothing doesn't mean a smaller product. There is no starter tier and no pro tier. Analytics, order tracking, refunds and your customer list are all in the one plan, from your first order.

  • Branded booking page linked from your Google and Apple listings
  • Unlimited services, categories, and photos
  • Unlimited bookable staff, each with their own hours
  • Client list from every appointment, exportable any time
  • Booking page analytics on every visit and booking
  • A link on every appointment the client can keep
  • Appointments dashboard, in a browser on any laptop, phone or tablet
  • Automatic confirmation and reminder emails
  • Your service list built for you, free, if you would rather not type it in
  • Email support

How the client booking fee works

The fee is a flat $2.99 on the appointment, whatever the service costs. It is the same on a $20 trim and a $200 color, because the work we do is the same booking either way. It appears as its own line at checkout before the client pays, never folded into your service prices.

Service priceClient pays today
$20 trim, $5 deposit$7.99
$60 manicure, $15 deposit$17.99
$75 cut, $15 deposit$17.99
$200 color, $50 deposit$52.99
Any service, no deposit$2.99

The deposit is yours and you set it per service, including setting it to nothing. The balance is collected in the chair however you already take payment. Prefer that your clients see no fee at all? Tell us - a plan where you cover the software yourself is being built, and it is not on sale yet.

Your screen

Run orders on a tablet by the pass, or on the phone in your pocket.

Ask us what setup to run and the answer is always the same: a screen by the pass showing nothing but orders, with email arriving underneath it as the backup. If you already have a spare tablet or an old iPad, that is the setup - it costs you nothing and it works today.

Recommended

A tablet on the counter, plus email

About $75 for the tablet and stand, bought from Amazon yourself. Already have a spare tablet? Use it, and this costs nothing.

This is the setup we recommend and the one that works best in a real salon: one screen that does nothing but show the day, so a booking is never competing with somebody's texts. Email keeps arriving underneath it as the backup.

You need: A screen you can leave at the front desk, and a plug.

Also fine

Email only, on what you already own

Free. Nothing to buy, nobody to talk to.

The whole product works this way, and plenty of salons run on it happily. Sign up tonight, take bookings in the morning, never speak to us. The catch is that a booking is one notification among all the others on a phone somebody is also using for everything else.

You need: A phone, tablet or laptop you already have, and somebody watching that inbox during service.

Also fine

A kitchen printer as well

You buy the printer. We do not sell them and make nothing on them.

Paper tickets, for a front desk that would rather work off paper. Email still arrives as the backup when the roll runs out. This one is inherited from the restaurant product and is not the recommended setup for a salon.

You need: A cloud-connected receipt printer and ten minutes to pair it during setup.

It is a recommendation, not a requirement. Use a tablet you already have, or skip the screen entirely and let orders arrive as an email on the phone or laptop you already own. Both are free and both are the whole product working.

  • The software is free to you. There is no monthly fee and no card to sign up. We make our money from a small service fee on the customer's bill, and the customer sees it on its own line.
  • You set the whole thing up yourself. Nothing to book, nobody to wait for. The one part we do for you is the service list: send it over and we type it in, free, because that is the bit people give up on.
  • What we tell everybody to do is put a screen by the pass, so orders are not competing with somebody's texts. If you have a spare tablet or an old iPad already, use that - it costs you nothing.
  • If you do not have one, the tablet and stand we recommend come to about $75 from Amazon. You buy them yourself at Amazon's price. We do not sell them and make nothing on them.
  • You are not forced into any of it. Orders can come to you as an email on the phone or laptop you already have. That is free too, and it is the whole thing working.
  • Want appointments printing at the desk too? Buy a cloud printer and pair it during setup. That one is always yours to buy - we do not sell printers.
  • Right now the tablet is not an app. It opens your orders page in its browser, like any website. Your own laptop or phone works the same way.
  • An Android app for the tablet is coming, and it will be free. You download it onto the tablet you already have. Nothing you set up now gets thrown away.

You set it up yourself, and there is nothing to book.

  • You set it up yourself, in the order the screen asks for it. There is no call to book and nobody to wait for.
  • Send us your price list and we will build it for you, free. It is the longest part of setup and the one people give up on, so it is the part we do.
  • Everything else takes minutes each: your hours, who takes bookings, and connecting Stripe so you get paid.
  • Stuck or something is broken? Message us and a person answers. Support is the part we do not automate.

What you are not asked for

  • The software costs your salon nothing. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no card at signup.
  • No contract, no minimum number of bookings, and no trial that turns into a bill.
  • The customer list you build is yours. Export it whenever you like, including on the way out.
  • The tablet and stand are bought by you, from Amazon, at Amazon's price. We do not resell them and make nothing on them.
  • Nothing is required. A phone or laptop you already own is a complete setup, and orders arrive by email on it.
  • A receipt printer is optional and you buy that one too. Most salons never do.

The software is free to your salon. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no card to sign up, and no contract. A $2.99 booking fee sits on the client's bill at checkout, shown to them as its own line, and that is the only money we make.

Android tablet

around $50

A 10-inch tablet that sits at the front desk and shows the day's appointments as they come in. It is the screen the salon watches while it works.

See it on Amazon

Counter stand

around $25

An adjustable stand that holds the tablet up at the counter so nobody has to prop it against the till.

See it on Amazon

For now the tablet runs the website version - your dashboard in its browser. Nothing to install, and the same dashboard opens on any laptop or phone you already own. An Android app you can download onto the tablet is coming, and it will be free too.

Coming: the Android app

An Android app for the tablet is coming. It will be free, you will download it onto the same tablet, and it does the same job as the website does today - just quicker to open. Nothing you set up now has to be redone.

One plan. Nothing to weigh up.
